Karina Rivera is a Miami-based Pastry Chef from Mexico City. In 2020 she founded Sweets with love, her company, where she teaches online and in-person classes, sells seasonal macarons and works as a consultant for bakeries and restaurants.
She studied culinary arts in Mexico City, and since then became passionate about French pastry. In 2012, she took her first job as a pastry cook at Celebrity Cruises. After one year, she was selected for an internship at St Regis Hotel in Bar Harbour, where she worked with renowned Chefs Antonio Bachour and Brad Kilgore.
Her hard work led her to become the Head Pastry Chef of Bachour Bakery and Bistro and then Head Pastry Chef of Bachour Miami. After her experience there, she became Head Pastry Chef at Novikov Miami.
Additionally, Chef Karina has been a runner-up at the Food Network Spring baking Championship, where she has assisted Chef Massimo Bottura. She's also the founder of Women Chefs 305.
